Delta Brings Back the Boeing 747 Airplane Skin Credit Cards With New Design

Delta Brings Back the Boeing 747 Airplane Skin Credit Cards With New Design

When Delta launched the Boeing 747 skin credit cards two years ago, they were snapped up in an instant. However, it now looks like they are back with a new design, this time instead of a dark gray we get a brilliant white color with a photo of one of Delta's last Boeing 747s before retirement.

Special edition credit cards are always unique and a fun memento to have. And these new cards are just as exciting.

The new limited-edition cards are cloud-white in color and made from two Delta Boeing 747 aircraft that were retired after more than 27 years of service and feature each plane’s history, including their first and last flights, tail number and number of miles flown.

How To Get One For Yourself

If you're an existing American Express Delta Reserve cardholder, you can request a replacement card through the app or online to change your card design. From when I ordered, it looks like the card will arrive in two weeks. I expect a lot of demand will be for this card and I would request a replacement sooner rather than later.

If you don't have either the personal or business American Express Delta Reserve card yet, you can always apply for a new card and request this design.

Either way, the special edition designs will go fast!

Final Thoughts

The Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card is a great card for frequent Delta flyers, I fly at least once or twice a month, which makes it worth it for the lounge access and the Delta Stays $200 credit. I have since ordered the new card design and can't wait for it to arrive.
